So delighted to read this post, know you are well, and hear how you are spending your time out there in Hollywoodland.
I also agree with you on the desire to instinctively know the days of the week again, as well as the need to mute friends on a partisan rant at this time.
And while I have never really listened to country music, every Nashville native should watch the Ken Burns series to better understand the history of this special place.

Jennifer, I am going to echo some of the above remarks and issue a resounding Thank You for your daily “Bacon” blogs! They are all a treat that I look forward to each and every day.
I have to say that today’s interview with Don Winston has been one of my favorites. I’m going to have to add a couple of his books to my every-expanding reading list. I love his sense of humor and some of his pics for “what to watch” and “what to read”. Several months back we watched Ken Burn’s “Country Music” mini series. I’m not much of a country music fan so I watched initially with a mild interest. But, as Don notes, after the first couple of episodes my interest began to pick up and I loved it! My father in law was a huge country music fan so I watched with him in mind. He is no longer with us and is missed on a daily basis.
Indeed, Jennifer, you are a gift! Thank you for sharing your talents with us!
