Friday Night Special: It’s a Love Song (Hadestown #2)

In October, I’m going to “Hadestown”. Will you join me, friends? It’s just – a visit.

In the beginning, there’s Orpheus and Eurydice. Orpheus – poet and musician – is writing a song so beautiful that spring will return to a cold, embittered world. Eurydice shivers in her threadbare coat.

Orpheus sees her and that thing happens when your eyes are altered. “Don’t come on too strong,” Hermes advises.
