Seen at the North Carolina Botanical Garden, and Recently
Spring ran wild
loose ribbons in her hair
a riot of pink and purple and red and yellow and blue.
One day, she knew,
she’d leap into the strong green arms of summer
and stay for a while
but not today

I think we’re all a bit mad with her variety and her everywhere promise of romance.
It’s a wonderland out here! And won’t last a day longer than it lasts… xoxo
It’s not as good as being there, but almost! Beautiful pictures. What a wonderful way to begin my Sunday morning. Thanks, LaMon
Thank you, LaMon! It’s always so good to hear from you! Xoxo
From the headline, I was pretty sure you were going to talk about the weather, and I would have agreed with that too! How lovely to see the flowers instead.
They suggest that the world is a beautiful, abundant, tender place – xoxo
Thank you… a delightful post!!
And we begin again with spring running in our blood — bloom
Love,
Paulette
Thank you, Paulette! Yes it is time to bloom – xoxo
Verse and photos : lovely, absolutely lovely.
I hope you can get over to the Botanical Garden soon, Jack! It is not to be missed! And – thank you – xoxo
