Bacon Solicitation

Dear Readers:  Please help me out!  I’d love to feature some of your favorite books of the year in a “Bacon Holiday Gift Guide” post in early December!  If interested, please send a few sentences about the best book you read this year.  Is it a good gift for Mom?  Your best friend?  A husband or father?  Niece or nephew?  Co-worker or boss?  Alternatively – if you’re feeling a little grinchy – tell me about the most terrible, horrible, no good, very bad book you read this year that should NEVER be given as a gift.
